Are you a youth worker passionate about sustainability, innovation, and non-formal education? Are you eager to explore how Design Thinking and Social Permaculture can transform your work with young people? If so, we invite you to join our 5-day international residential Training Course!

Location: Sončni grič / Sunny Hill, Gračišče 6272, Slovenia
Sončni grič is a space for cooperation, innovation, and a supportive environment for research, education, and active sustainable development practice. It is an ideal setting for reflection, collaboration, and exploration of sustainable practices in a serene and inspiring atmosphere.

Who Can Apply?

Youth workers (18+) interested in sustainability, social innovation, and non-formal education, students, activists. Participants must be from partner countries.

About the Training:

This Training Course is designed to equip youth workers with practical knowledge and tools to integrate Design Thinking and Social Permaculture into their work with young people. Over five immersive days, participants will:

  • Gain a solid understanding of Design Thinking and its application in youth work.
  • Learn how to identify and assess real-world challenges affecting young people and communities.
  • Explore Social Permaculture and its potential to create sustainable, community-driven solutions.
  • Experiment with Design Thinking techniques to prototype and test interventions.
  • Engage with best practices, success stories, and innovative youth-led sustainability initiatives.
  • Play and evaluate educational games, providing insights for the development of a new game within the project.
