We create a more resilient and sustainable agricultural ecosystem

Thanks to human action and elements management, the agricultural ecosystem is vastly different from that in untouched nature. By studying natural ecosystems, we can gain a greater understanding of the complex interaction between the living world and the environment in a certain area. By applying this knowledge, we can better understand the relationships between factors in an agricultural ecosystem (agroecosystem) and more wisely choose interventions to support its resilience and sustainability, which is the goal of the science we call agroecology. ZMAG strives to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge about the application of agroecology through the organization of permaculture design courses, organic gardening, beekeeping, and mushroom cultivation workshops, and through the activities of the Community Seed Bank.
